We are currently working with the leadership of QMUL Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry on ideas for a fund to assist medical students facing financial hardship. The George Cholmeley Cattlin Prize
£1,000 awarded annually to a qualified medical practitioner for postgraduate clinical or laboratory research in the subjects of medicine, surgery, or the allied sciences, carried out at QMUL Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
The Alfred Thomas Corrie Prize
£1,000 awarded annually on the recommendation of the Graduate Studies Committee of the Medical School, to a qualified medical practitioner for a postgraduate clinical research project in anatomy or surgery (including scanning), carried out at QMUL Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
Treasurer’s Prize
£500 awarded annually, on the recommendation of the Medical School, to the best student in their intercalated degree course.
The James and Henry Cooper & William Garlick Coventon Scholarship
An annual scholarship of £5,000 awarded to a medical practitioner, on the recommendation of the Medical School, in order to undertake research in medicine, surgery or their allied sciences.
Selwyn-Clarke Vacation Scholarships
Scholarships to allow students to undertake a short period of research during the summer vacation of their MBBS. These scholarships are awarded annually on the recommendation of the Medical School.
