We are always happy to partner with other organisations to fund a special project at Barts. We can provide early funding for a pilot project or pledge an initial contribution to encourage others to match fund a new service supporting the Hospital’s patients, staff or students. We can also provide our expertise, experience and administrative back-up to a project funded by others. Where appropriate, we can establish a fund, prize or scholarship which carries the name of a major donor or remembers someone special in the history of the Hospital.
By way of example, we are currently in discussion with specialists at Barts about contributing half the cost of a new social prescribing service for certain vulnerable patients, with the other half to be funded by commercial sponsors. In addition to our funding, we will provide our administrative skills and infrastructure, plus all the prestige and connections that come with our near 500 year history.
